Pokemon Sword and Shield Review

Pokemon Sword and Shield came out just over a month ago. It is one of the best Pokemon games ever. Game Freak did great, they were able to innovate on returning features and creating new ones. The story was pretty good and it has a post-game that doesn’t have pacing issues. Like everything there are issues but in my opinion, the pros definitely out way the cons. Graphics and Sound For the last couple of Generations, Graphics and Audio have been improving a lot. This generation is a huge leap for Pokemon graphics The new pokemon designs are nice and … Continue reading Pokemon Sword and Shield Review

Ring Fit Adventure Review

Ring Fit Adventure is a really great game. It uses the Switch hardware really well and provides a fun way to workout. Graphics and Sound The graphics are lacklustre but that’s the style which I really like. The art style is sort of odd but nice. Nintendo does a great job of getting the most of the low power/low-resolution hardware. Sound design wise its decent, the music is great but the character voiceover is bad but the ring character’s VO is especially annoying, Gameplay Ring Fit is innovative in adding RPG elements to a fitness game. It actually does a really … Continue reading Ring Fit Adventure Review

Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair Review

Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair is a super fun platforming game. It’s the sequel to the acclaimed Yooka Laylee. I had a great time playing the game. The graphics are great and the gameplay is pretty good. Gameplay In general, the game is great really fun to play. It makes me wish that I was able to play the original. This game is super difficult but that is balanced with level design to keep the difficulty from giving you that ‘I’ll never finish the level’ feeling. The controls are pretty simple but a couple of the more advanced moves … Continue reading Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair Review

Review Of Pokèmon Let’s Go

I thought that I released this about a month ago. The Pokémon Let’s Go games are a great spiritual successor to Pokémon Yellow. It has also been updated with some great (and some not so great) new features and new gameplay mechanics, also some features taken from Pokémon Go. But the game has stayed true to Pokémon Yellow while improving on it Gameplay In general the Gameplay is really good. It’s a basic Pokemon game so there is not much to say. The game is a little harder than most recent Pokemon games (but I think that the earlier ones … Continue reading Review Of Pokèmon Let’s Go
