This week Samsung held their annual Unpacked event, there’s lots of space news, lots of gaming news, some Apple news, Ev is leaving Twitter and more, in the Other News section.
Samsung Unpacked 2019
On Wednesday, Samsung held its annual Unpacked device announcement event. At the event, they announced more info about their long rumoured foldable phone that they showed off at SDC last fall. They also announced the Galaxy S10 and a few other products.
Galaxy Fold
The Galaxy Fold has a 4.6 inch AMOLED cover (phone) display and a 7.3 inch Super AMOLED inside (tablet) display. It also has a 6 camera system: dual camera (10MP Selfie Camera and 8MP RGB Depth Camer) on the front, tri-camera (12MP Telephoto Camera, 12MP Wide-angle Camera and,16MP Ultra Wide Camera) and the 10MP Selfie Camera on the Cover. It has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of Storage,
S10 Series
S10 and S10+
The S10 has a 6.1-inch screen and the S10+ has a 6.1-inch display, both have are HDR certified, 4K and, have the infinity-o display. Both powered by the Snapdragon 855 with 8 or 12 GB of RAM. You can get both in 128GB or 512GB configurations and the S10+ also comes in a 1TB configuration. The phone has a 3 rear camera setup (wid, ultra wide and, telephoto).
S10e
The S10e has a 5.8 inch Full HD/HDR certified display. The rest of the device’s specs are the same as the rest of the series except for the Ultrawide lens.
S10 5G
Samsung also announced that they will be releasing a 5G variant of the S10 but didn’t give much more information.
Pricing & Availability
The Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e will be available in stores and online beginning March 8, 2019 in select markets. Pricing starts at $899.99 for Galaxy S10, $999.99 for Galaxy S10+ and $749.99 for Galaxy S10e

In a Statement on Thursday Nintendo Of America announced that longtime President & COO Reggie Fils-Aime is retiring. Reggie has been an important and influential person at Nintendo since he started. He’s being replaced by Doug Bowser the current SVP of Sales and Marketing.

Google Project Yeti
Remember that last year Google had Assassins Creed streamable in Chrome? That was just a test, now there are rumours that they may offer a full fledge game-streaming service. If they are going to they may announce it at GDC in late March.
XBOX E3 Rumors (Quick Bit)
There are now rumours that the next XBOX will be announced at E3 this year.
Ev is leaving Twitter
Twitter founder Ev Willians announced that he is leaving his position at Twitter as of Monday (today). He is running the News platform Medium.

In other news, Google is discontinuing the web interface for Google Fit. Tim Cook will do commencement at Harvard this year, Facebook kills their Onavo VPN and, Elon Musk was on PewDiePie’s show Meme Review.
