Xbox
A few months ago there were rumours that Xbox Live was coming to Moblie and Nintendo Switch. Those rumours were kind of accurate. On Thursday, Microsoft announced Game Stack in a press release. This is an important SDK that simplifies lots of stuff for game developers easier. In that announced an SDK that brings Xbox Live to mobile.
Apple
Spotify submits Antitrust against Apple
On Thursday Spotify filed an anti-trust against Apple in the EU. The claim basically says that Apple is unfairly charging apps to offer subscriptions in the app store that gives Apple Music an unfair advantage because it’s cheaper. Apple charges a percentage of every app store purchase.
Apple Streaming Service Update
On Wednesday, Bloomberg reported that Starz, HBO and, Showtime are negotiating with Apple to join their streaming service. News will probably come next Monday at an event where it’s rumoured that they will also announce their news subscription service.
Tesla Event
On Thursday, Tesla held an event to announce the Tesla Model Y their first crossover based on the Model 3 platform. It is going to be one of their cheaper models. There are going to be two SKUs of the car, The base model goes for $39,000 and has a range of 230 miles with 0 to 60 acceleration in 5.9 seconds. The Long model goes for $47,000 and has a range of 300 miles with 0 to 60 acceleration in 5.9 seconds. To get AWD you have to pay $51,000 but only get a range of 280 miles. The Performance goes for begins at $60,000 and has a range of 280 miles of range and 0-to-60 in 3.5 seconds. The ladder is releasing in 2021 and the former in 2020.
