First off I don’t know much about GPU stuff but I’ll still cover it, at the end of the article I’ll link to other sources with more detailed reporting. Yesterday AMD held an announcement event where the detailed their new lineup of 6000 Series GPUs. 6000 Series has a bunch of new features Nvidia’s previous generation had and some new ones. Apple ‘time flies’ Event

On Tuesday Apple held their annual September product announcement event. Like WWDC it was a prerecorded event which was good but I think that the format works better for WWDC. At the event they announced updates to the iPad and Apple Watch lineups, they also announced a lot of updates around services. Analysis Of The Social Media Executive Order

On Thursday, President Trump signed an executive order that challenges the safe harbour protections given to social media companies. As I am not American nor a lawyer I asked YouTuber (host of Lawful Masses) and copyright lawyer Leonard French his opinion. Microsoft Hardware Event

On Wednesday, Microsoft held a hardware event announcing new Surface devices. They announced Surface Go 2 and, Surface Book 3, they also announced some accessories. The Surface Go 2 has a 10.5-inch screen with an Intel Core M processor and 4GB (base) of RAM. Storage-wise it has a whoppingly tiny compacity of 64 GB eMMC and a 128 GB SSD. in a variety of colors, including Platinum, Black, Poppy Red, and Ice Blue.
